Aphids will no longer bother if the gardener took timely measures to destroy the pest. In addition to processing with folk or industrial means, beetles and birds do an excellent job with these small insects.

Work in greenhouses and greenhouses

Work on the destruction of the pest in a greenhouse or in a greenhouse is distinguished by its specificity. There is a closed space, so aphids are easier to develop. At the same time, it is much easier to clean than in an open garden.

To carry out the manipulation, it is necessary to stock up with a tin can and a handful of tobacco leaves. First, small through holes are made in the container. Small dry brushwood is laid at the bottom and set on fire. As soon as the flame appears, tobacco is thrown to the bottom of the tank and the smoking structure is brought into the greenhouse or greenhouse. The entrance and windows are tightly closed. In a few minutes, the entire space under the glass or film will be wrapped in white smoke. Aphids under its influence die instantly.

To remove insects from the greenhouse and the greenhouse, you can use the mechanical method. It is suitable for use in small areas of plantations or small areas of pest distribution.

Take a cotton pad, moisten it in warm water and wipe the surface of the leaves with aphids. Wet cotton perfectly removes insects. If the lesion area is too large, the shoot is cut off. All waste is burnt in a special container.

Processing plants in open beds

If aphids appeared on the beds, they prepare a decoction of tomato tops. These insects do not tolerate the smell of nightshade, so they never settle on tomatoes. First you need to collect 2 kg of shoots. Place them in a metal container, pour 5 liters of water and bring to a boil. Cover and leave to infuse for 2-3 hours. When the liquid has completely cooled, it must be filtered and poured into a container with a spray bottle. There, add 2 tbsp. l liquid or grated soap. It will improve the adhesion of the product to the surface of the foliage.

Plantations should be treated in dry, calm weather after sunset. Otherwise, drops of moisture on the foliage under the influence of sunlight can cause burns.

If it rains immediately after spraying, the manipulation will have to be repeated the next day.

If there are no tomatoes in the garden, potatoes will do. 2 kg of green tops are poured with 1 bucket of settled water and left for 5-6 hours. Then they are filtered, 40-50 ml of liquid soap are added and the plants are treated with a spray gun. If necessary, the procedure is repeated after 1 week.

It does not tolerate aphids and the smell of onion husks. For 1 bucket of water, 1 liter of waste is taken and sent to the stove. Boil for 5-10 minutes. Then it is passed through a sieve, diluted with pure water in a ratio of 1: 1 and used to process the garden.

Do not tolerate insects and washing powder. The composition should be of weak concentration, so as not to destroy the young shoots. A 1% solution of washing powder is considered quite effective.

To enhance the effect of the agent, hydrogen peroxide is added to the mixture.

For the composition, take 1 bucket of settled water, add 10 g of powder to it. Stir until the granules are completely dissolved. Then 30-40 ml of hydrogen peroxide is poured there. In the future, the composition is used for spraying.

If aphid appeared in the garden along with the first vegetables, you need to start the fight immediately. Spraying crops is carried out 2 times with an interval of 5 days. For the procedure, choose the time after sunset, when there are no beneficial organisms in the garden.

If the aphid hit the cabbage, the upper foliage from the heads will have to be removed and burned. Then carefully process the beds.

To prepare the composition take 10 g of green potash soap. Dilute it in 5 l of standing water and spray the beds.

Potash soap not only has a fatal effect on aphids, but also serves as an excellent fertilizer.

It is not recommended to use sodium compounds for treating plants, since they destroy not only harmful, but also beneficial microorganisms.

Save the cabbage and infusion of dandelions. To prepare the product, 200 g of green chopped mass is poured into 5 liters of water and left for 6-7 hours. Then filter and use as intended.
